We’re almost ready for our boat tour season ! Spring is really coming up now- still some stormy Dutch weather- of course, but can you see the sun through the clouds too ? Actually this Sunday the weather forecast is nice, it will be hot and sunny. For us a perfect day for painting Daisy, we want her to be Spic ‘n’ Span for the new boat tour season. The regular boat tour starts Saturday April 9th. We already have a private tour booked on this particular weekend, some customers wanted a private tour and we’re bringing them to MaMaKelly for a lovely dinner. From city centre to Binckhorst area it is a small hour by boat. Maybe we’re going to need the blankets -kind of cosy i would say-
Besides the regular boat tours, we planning some nice events for the next months. First in line is King’s Night – famous for The Hague- with al the live music in the city. The Hague is host to the yearly King’s Night Life I Live festival (or Koningsnach, King’sNight, as it used to be called) on the night before King’s Day. This free open air festival turns the inner city into one big party for the evening and off course you all want to be there Tuesday evening April 26th. This King’s Night boat tour is the meet-up for friends or expat networks who want to join in the celebrations. The group-ticket comes with a free bottle of Prosecco and 6-pack Beer. See you 7 PM !
Another event on Sunday May 1th is, something complete different, a serious story. In addition to the Liberation Festival (Bevrijdingsfestival) on 5 May, the city will organise The Hague Freedom Weeks from 15 April to 5 May. The Jewish History boat tour is part of the Liberation Festival. Our guide Remco Dörr is an art historian and inspired narrator. He will treat you the secrets about the Jewish History in The Hague.
